Stiff Little Fingers - At The Edge Live And Kickin (DVD)

Being a child of the 1970's, with older sisters who were in to punk, mod and a variety of music. Although I head Stiff Little Fingers (SLF) when I was younger I did not really buy any albums etc until I got together with the hubby who reintroduced me to them.

Formed in 1977 the band was named Highway Star the Belfast. Shortly after formation the name changed shortly changed to Stiff Little Fingers

There have been some band member changes the current band line up is Jake Burns, Ian McCallum, Steve Grantley and Ali McMordie.

SLF music has a knack for introducing their life experiences into their music. This can be heard in the anti-militarism nature of some lyrics experiences of living in Northern Ireland.

SLF, have grown and developed along with their music, their political views are clearly heard through their music however, it still remains vigorously honest.

Although some listeners may pull away don't their views are honest and I must admit some of their lyrics are what I am thinking but will not necessarily say!
