The Setup - Torchbearer

After enduring a very demanding 2008 with personal loss and
half of their line-up changed, the crawl & reign ep proved The
Setup was more alive than ever. This release however was only a
glimpse of what is coming. With their upcoming full length
album 'Torchbearer' The Setup prove that they're still a force
to be reckoned with. This record is by far the heaviest album
they ever wrote and above all, it captures their trademark live
sound. 33 minutes of explosive guitar riffing, hard hitting
drums, and vicious vocals is Torchbearer in a nutshell. Songs
like Hostile Eyes , Drown and Sink and "Another Heresy" are
the living proof The Setup raised the bar once again. Recorded
by Jacob Olsen (Born From Pain, Hatesphere, Moonspell
Gorefest) This collaboration resulted in 12 bone crushing songs
that will grab you by the throat and leave you breathless. It s
no secret, The Setup faced some dark times which eventually led
to an album that embodied this struggle, so no one will be
surprised Torchbearer is an album full of anger, frustration
and hate but even more it s also an album of hope, because in a
world where no one seems to care and many of us feel alone, the
torchbearer will rise to show us there is more out there than
what we are told.
