This is probably one of my favorite punk records. Jonathin Christ's emotive delivery and heavy California accent make the vocals really stand out, but the band is no slouch. I hear touches of the Avengers mixed with Cali hardcore in the treble-heavy guitar sound (that East Bay sound already evolving). They bust out some fast and furious hardcore songs like "Fight or Die" and "People's Revolution," but really destroy with the more mid-tempo punk stuff like "Code of Honor" or my favorite song "Stolen Faith." That song is the perfect mesh of Mike's expressive guitar and Jonathin's passionate vocals and heartfelt political lyrics. The lyrics are amazing, so earnest that many would call them cheesy but I think they're perfect.--KFTH
