FIRED UP is a hardcore-punk band from the fine state of Connecticut in the USA. FIRED UP plays music influenced by such great bands as Insted, Youth of Today, Rain on the Parade and Half-Off.
Though Fired Up’s debut EP has been out for a while, it still deserves a mention. These dudes carry on the Connecticut posi-core tradition (Wide Awake, Up Front, Fastbreak and Follow Through, anyone?) like they were groomed for it since birth. The CD version includes their demo as bonus tracks, and collectors might want to check Youngblood’s webstore for the special pressing left over from Youngblood’s 10th anniversary show last month.--CMJ
